About Us
Completed projects include:
- $5.7 million for the new library, opened in March 2019.
- 30 Wi-Fi hotpots for the community to borrow and take home, available since June 2020.
- $12,500 for a 1-year, part-time contract for an Information Technology Professional, beginning June 2019.
- Special library celebrations and fundraisers. (Library Grand Opening, anniversary, dedications, etc.)
- Opened the Drake Learning Center / STEM Learning Lab in October, 2024.
Ongoing projects include:
- Sponsoring the “Meet the Artist” Event Series. At this bimonthly gathering, the artist featured in the Cornelius Public Library Walters Gallery shares with guests insights into their vision and inspirations.
- The Donor Tree, an art exhibit in the Library’s Veterinary Clinic Atrium, where generous donations are commemorated.
